In July 2025, a team of ICHK students qualified for the Tournament of Champions at Yale University.

The team of three achieved success at the prestigious World Scholar’s Cup Global Run in Seoul, after earlier success at the regional round of the competition in Shenzhen.

During five days of intense competition, they battled against teams from across the region. The students picked up medals in team debate, collaborative writing, the scholar’s challenge, and scholar’s bowl categories, as well as a number of individual awards.

Their results led to qualification for the annual champions event at Yale.

The Scholar’s Cup is a prestigious academic competition, which attracts thousands of students from around the world every year.

This trophy was presented to the team on the final day of the event, and is now proudly displayed at school.
